Raffles Europejski Warsaw

To start our European adventure, we found the cheapest flights were to Warsaw & decided we might as well check out the city before heading to Amsterdam. We don’t normally splurge on hotels, especially when it’s not for vacation, but I could not pass up the chance to stay at a Raffles property for such a low rate!

The Raffles Europejski Warsaw is beautiful property and likely the best hotel in all of Warsaw. It’s in pristine condition & seems to be treated like a museum (complete with an incredible art collection) Our experience was nothing short of exceptional, earning a fantastic 9 out of 10 rating.

Each floor has a mini museum with information about Warsaw’s history

The Room

From the moment I entered our room, the spaciousness and meticulous attention to detail were immediately noticeable. The room was more than just pretty; it was a perfect mix of traditional elegance and contemporary conveniences, filled with natural light and numerous museum quality works of art. The king-sized bed, with the most incredible mattress, assured—and indeed provided—a sleep experience comparable to floating on clouds. Our favorite feature in the room may have just been the heated flooring in the bathroom to help with the chilly mornings!

Dining

The primary restaurant on property, The Europejski Grill is a stunner. We didn’t have a chance to eat dinner here but the reviews are very strong. Their breakfast set up, which comes with most room stays, was very impressive with a much larger selection than you normally find. We had a quick bite before heading to the airport and thoroughly enjoyed it with good service as well.

The Long Bar, their lobby bar, is the ideal spot for a relaxed evening, serving skillfully mixed drinks and an extensive selection of wines. It seemed to be a hot spot for locals and tourists alike, and a very mellow place to grab a drink after dinner.

Last, they have amazing space serving beautiful pastries, fresh coffee, and ice cream throughout the day. This is a must-try if you need some energy late afternoon!

Other Amenities

Raffles Warsaw offers a variety outstanding amenities to enhance your stay. The Spa is an oasis of relaxation, providing a wide range of treatments designed to rejuvenate body and mind. Even if you don’t want to splurge for a treatment, they have extensive facilities for both men & women including a steam sauna, dry sauna, ice plunge, and relaxation rooms.

The most impressive part of the Spa has to be their underground pool, which is unlike any I’ve ever seen before. There are hydrotherapy stations throughout, with hidden corners to soak and relax at your leisure. There’s also a massive attached hot tub with more jets than you could ever need. This was quite the set up!

Exploring Warsaw

Within a 20-minute walk (Warsaw is very walkable!), here are a few fantastic restaurants that I’d recommend.

  1. Bibenda: An amazing vegetarian spot that charms with its creative fusion of global and local flavors. The menu is updated with whatever is in season & they pour a bunch of great natural wines. We particularly loved their grilled cauliflower dish!

  2. Bułkę przez Bibułkę: We found this spot for a nice breakfast before a long day of walking & it did not disappoint. They serve a wide range of traditional breakfast items + a few international staples.

  3. Bar Rascal: Unfortunately we didn’t make it here but it came highly recommended by the Concierge. We were told they have a massive wine selection as well as great cocktails & some delicious food. Just around the corner from the Raffles

For those seeking cultural enrichment and adventure during their stay, the hotel's vicinity does not disappoint. A walking tour through Old Town is like stepping back in time – cobbled streets lead you past historic buildings and charming cafes, each with stories to tell. The Copernicus Science Museum is another highlight; it's an interactive haven that sparks curiosity across its many exhibits – perfect for both young visitors and adults (Copernicus Science Center). Lastly, don’t miss out on Hala Koszyki – this food hall is a paradise for foodies looking to sample a variety of cuisines under one roof (Hala Koszyki).

The Raffles Europejski Warsaw offers an indulgent escape with its impeccable service, luxurious accommodations, great dining options on-site, and easy access to some of the best restaurants in town. Coupled with nearby attractions that offer engaging activities for all ages, our stay was truly memorable – it’s clear why this hotel deserves such high praise. If you are in Warsaw for a short or long stay, this property is well worth a visit!
